LOL, my upper arm (biceps, triceps area) is also 17". But I don't think of myself as built or ripped. Just fit and healthy. I wear t-shirts around the house and out in the yard, by the pool, at the beach, or running errands. But if I'm out socially I'm always wearing a long sleeve button up dress shirt or casual shirt with a blazer or sportscoat. Wife beater shirts just aren't me. I think it sends the wrong message to the women I'm interested in meeting and people in general. Specifically for a guy my age. Like the backward baseball cap thing on a 50 year old guy. Cringe.

LOL, my insistence on a more formal look works against me once in a while. I remember some female friends telling me that one woman in their group was put off by my constant suit and tie or button up shirt and blazer look. She apparently thought I was stuffy and uptight. Nope. Just like to dress like an adult when I'm out. But then she dated bikers and mechanics. I think she was generally uncomfortable with a private equity guy who came from a military background. I wasn't from her universe.

As for you dude, keep on rockin whatever makes you feel good. Your confidence is probably the secret to people accepting it. Own it. If you're comfortable and confident, most people are going to accept it as long as you're in good shape. Age ain't nuthin but a number. Biological age can be very different from chronological age. Lucky you and me!
