Well in that case definitely short as what's considered ideal is men being tall and women being short, or at least in proportion to each other in a couple.

A woman can be tall, sure. But her man better be taller than her.

Likewise, a man can be short, sure. But his woman better be shorter than him.

American society does not like the woman being taller than the man or the man being shorter than the woman.

Depends on what you define as tall. I think (personal opinion) women over about 5'9" struggle to find men in the USA. Whereas women 5'3" and shorter can find men willing to accept their height relatively easily and they can always use heels to boost themselves up a few inches.

In part, tall women limit themselves by wanting guys 6'5" or more who are relatively rare and in part by some guys who don't want to date a woman taller than them.

I grew up during the 1990's. I heard that back then men liked big boobs. I've been told that now days big butts became the thing with men. I still like women with curves, as long as the curves are in the right places. Boobs, and Hips. But that doesn't make it the beauty standard.

In my opinion, it is not good for a woman to try and match the beauty standard. That standard shifts around with the trends. However she should focus on finding the person who likes her body.
