Although I believe in conservative dressing in public, I think I've been indoctrinated by the idea that it's okay to flaunt it a little when you're at the beach. It's one of the few times where guys can take their shirts off and not come across as vain, and when women can show their figures off. I'm more than okay with it. Plus, if you go in the water, you don't want too many clothes on because it feels terrible.

However, I honestly think thongs show just a bit too much. I feel it's like saying you want the whole world to see everything, and it's usually a bit of an indicator of you being sexually promiscuous.

Whatever this is looks ideal to me.

If someone’s just going swimming then yeah that’s one issue. I think what it comes down to is intent… If you don’t trust your partner or think someone’s trying to solicit a certain type of attention from other men… That’s a issue.

As for me it’s not a big deal if it’s for swimming. If it’s overly revealing and there isn’t any comfort or logic behind it like… A bottom that’s giving you a wedgie can’t be comfortable… Yeah ehhh might feel uncomfortable.

It also just comes down to compatibility. Some people have different standards. Is that bad? No. Forcing it on someone is. Find someone compatible.
