I may be right. I may be wrong. But this is what I have come to believe based on my life experience. Women can be very competitive with each other whether single or married.

70% of a woman's choice of hairstyle, makeup, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories is aimed at garnering praise (or jealousy) from her female peer group. And that makes sense because other women will appreciate those things more than most men. And they will judge her more harshly than most men.
30% of a woman's effort goes into attracting men or getting positive attention from men. And only when she is on the hunt for a man and specifically when she is on the hunt for one guy she has singled out.

And yeah each woman is an individual. Not every woman will follow this general behavior. Some are very needy when it comes to men and some are lesbians, LOL.

Most who dress sexy do so to attract male attention. They don't display cleavage, legs and wear high heels and tight-fitting clothes for comfort. Although some would claim that they dress that way to feel good about themselves, which may be partially true. But they feel good about themselves because of the reactions they get. It's a form of validation.

And women definitely wear lingerie to arouse their partners.

It depends on the woman. Some do. Some don't. Many women wear the kind of dresses because they feel pretty/confident in them, not exactly to attract guys. However, most women do wear sexy dresses once in a while for their partner because they want to keep the spark going. I mean, who doesn't like it when their partner is making an effort to look their best when you decide to go out on a date. 😅

Oh, that's just silly. I never dress sexy to attract anyones attention. I always just dress casually to be myself and just in case the paparazzi drives by.  Actual simulation of Random dressing casually while doing farm chores.

Of course they do, and the ones that dress that way in public while in a relationship are cheaters seeking attention from other men. If they actually didn't dress that way for attention/cheating, they would dress up like that when just staying home for the day too. That is one good thing about Hispanic women, they dress nice and fix their hair when just staying home with their partner because they actually care about their partner, unlike the majority of White women that put little effort into their relationship and only try to impress and satisfy strangers because they aren't loyal.

Some of them probably do, but most certainly not all of them.

Also, it depends on what kind of "sexy" -it's different for every individual men, not all of us like the same things.

Most women i know would say no, and the same for me (and im sure there are also women that do). I’m into women and i don’t dress sexy to attract women’s attention either. It’s more about pleasing myself than other people. Funny thing, lots of straight men i know dress up to attract other men’s attention as in bragging and trying to elicit jealousy

Here is what I’ll say. 1 the men answering can’t give a full answer on this, why? Because they are men, not woman.
there are some that do dress for men, but I can guarantee you that majority of us do not. Just like a lot of us won’t dress the way we want because we don’t want to be sexualized.
I myself make sure my body is fully covered and that the clothes are baggier because I don’t want a man sexualizing me, there is not a man that is living that I want sexualizing me. I also don’t want a man jerking off to me either
