Would you mind if your girlfriend is sloppy regarding wearing clothes?

Lets say you are a public figure, known by the country, popular and with money and had dated several pretty women (most of them also entertainment public figures) with good taste in clothes, know how to dress well, they could dress simple but still they know how to dress with style.

Then your last girlfriend is not entertainment related but has a poor taste in clothes. She dresses sloppy and you can see the girlfriend does not dress with good style even if she wears simple clothes with the same hairstyle since they met. The boyfriend seem does not mind to be seen with a girlfriend who dress sloppy, even when he is the public figure and known by people and need to keep appearances from time to time but also it seems he has never had given his girlfriend one word or advice or suggestion that dress a little better, even if it is a simple style.

Im not saying the boyfriend needs to force her to dress the way he wants of course not, that is abuse, but he could suggest her that dress a little better as he is the public figure the one people see and judge and by default by havng a girlfriend who dress terribly, at the end the talk of the town will be aimed at him, not her. So would you mind if your girlfriend is sloppy in that way and you dont care or you care but little?

It depends on what “sloppy” really means.

If it’s just casual outfits, relaxed clothes, or not being polished 24/7 —
that doesn’t bother me at all.

People are human, not mannequins.

But if it means she consistently looks like she’s stopped caring about herself,
her confidence, or her wellbeing, then yes, that would matter.

I wouldn't mind, I don't care about fashion, and I'm sloppy too.

I actually prefer girls who dress sporty and/or casually... I don't like and formal outfits.
