Just because someone happens to feel a little better in the moment doesn't mean the action didn't hurt the person. Especially with cosmetic surgery. I've never seen someone 10+ years after cosmetic surgery that didn't look worse than if they never got the surgery. And other than those that do a 1 time boob job or something, I almost never hear about people getting only 1 surgery

Your experience doesn't speak for cosmetic surgery on the whole. There are many successful surgeries whether it be nose jobs, breast augmentation, breast reduction for both men and women, skin replacement for burn victims, etc., that have been very fulfilling for the recipient.

Are there people who take it too far? Of course. That's just human nature for some whether it be surgeries, political stances, overeating, drinking or drug use, or a multitude of other vices that are out there.

Personally, I have had a breast augmentation recently and it has been a positive change for me, and yes, I would like additional surgery to fix my nose, but that's about it. I have no interest in becoming more plastic than human.
