I wash my hair every day with a mixture of a coal tar shampoo and a salicylic acid shampoo, to control some flaking of my scalp. I don't use conditioner, I don't use a blow dryer, and I still have a full head of hair. It is so thick that the woman who cuts it routinely uses thinning shears on it.

I wash once a day and usually a few to several hours before bed. If I have an itchy scalp or a dirty body, I might wash during the day, but it is usually before bed.
