For everyday wear when carrying a neutral colored bag, is brown or black better? Should you always match the color of your shoes, or can you carry one color for just everyday wear.

It really depends on what colors you wear the most. If you usually wear dark cool colors then I’d go with black. If you wear a lot of tans, whites, browns etc. then a brown bag would probably work better.

I don’t follow the purse/shoe rule unless I’m wearing a dress. Then I try to match the bag snd shoes. But it’s never a must.
