Has anybody ever gotten a French Pedi?

I have been told for years that a French Pedi would look good on me. I have never gotten one though. I live in the American South where it is already warm on many days. It will not be long before it will be full time sandal weather. I went ahead and finally got a French Pedi, which I really am liking the look of more than I thought. It is so simple, yet so elegant. Now, I see what the fuss has been all about.

I guess it looks clean, which in general neat things can be satisfying, I still can't say I know what makes them french.
