How many times can you wear pants before you should wash them?

I usually wear them twice.

Depends... If I'm wearing them for a night out and it's only a few hours of sitting eating and drinking with friends, I may wash them after 4 or 5 nights of wear. If someone spills something on me then they get washed ASAP. Heat and humidity are a factor. In the winter I don't sweat. In the summer I sweat like a racehorse. If I'm working outside around my house, one day and those pants are done. If I'm backpacking or climbing then all I have is what I can carry on my back and those pants may not get washed for 5-7 days. Yes they get ripe. But I'm miles from civilization. When I was in the military, it wasn't unusual to go 3-7 days in the same clothes.

Underwear once. Regular pants like up to 4 days depending if I got sweaty or dirty in it or not.

I imagine it depends on how long you wear them, whether or not they get dirty, etc. If you wear them for a couple of hours a day indoors without getting anything on them, probably longer than if you worked outside all day in them. I'd say I've done maybe about 2-3 wears of pants I've worn indoors that were still clean. If I exercise in them and get sweaty or do something that gets them dirty, they obviously go in the wash.

Lol, ok, here comes lazy , slob girl to confess to getting quite a few uses out of a pair of pants before actually having to do laundry. I mean it's not like I go around stinky and dirty , it's just in winter time I don't have to go out more than 2 or 3 times a week so thats the only time I have to wear pants. Other than that I live in my pink, flannel jammies all winter. 🤣

For most everyday pants like jeans, chinos, or dress pants, wearing them 2–3 times before washing is totally fine, sometimes even 4–5 if you didn’t sweat much and they don’t smell or look dirty.

Your “twice” habit is perfectly normal 😊
Just wash sooner if it’s hot, you exercised in them, or you spilled something.

Depends on the use. It makes sense for someone that wears them all day like at a job or going to school dealing with heat and sweat to wash it after one use.

For someone like me... that wears lounge cothes all day, and might put on normal clothes to go buy beer and then I take them right off... I just fold them up and put them back into cycle. Why wash something that's clean still...

I usually wear them for a week if theyre not visibly dirty. Most people wash their clothes far too often with far to much soap which degrades them so fast

It depends. If I wore the same trousers the whole day I'll dump them in the laundry basket at the end of the day. But if I just wore them for a few hours and didn't sweat much I'll probably re-wear them.

Depending on how dirty/sweating you get. during the winter time I wear 3 or 4 layers the layers not touching my skin 3 to 4 times if they're touching my skin 2 days at most.
