How long do you wear jeans before washing them?

I miss clicked on "Until they look or smell dirty" when I was aiming for a few days or more. I typically wear my jeans when I go out in public to be presentable as well as because I'm kind of out doorsy but then take them off and swap to shorts as soon as I go home. Basically, at most they normally are worn a couple hours a day so typically unless they get dirty, I'll use them for half a week or maybe more depending on how much use they get and if they're clean.

You’re actually supposed to wash denim as infrequently as possible, to have some tell it. It fades the color.

Exceptions are obviously if they get visibly dirty or you spill something on them, or sweat in them, but otherwise, a lot of people will tell you to leave ‘em be.

Instead, fold them up and put them in your freezer overnight to kill off bacteria. And when they do go in the wash, wash them inside out, that slows the fading👍👍

A few days - with breaks in between, throw in the freezer for a little, wear them again and then wash. Unless they become visibly dirty of course.

If I'm wearing my work jeans, that's maximum two days and wash like with every other clothing item I wear at work.

I'm not really a jeans type person... However I do have several pairs, and on the rare occasions I do wear them, after two or three days at most, they will go straight in the wash (turned inside out of course).

Haha, true! 😄 I try to wash my jeans after 3 to 5 wears, depending on how clean they still seem and what I've done in them. Jeans can definitely last without frequent washing, which helps preserve their color and fit. Plus, it saves some laundry time! How about you?

Depends. Jeans I'm working around the yard in get washed after 1 day. Dress jeans I'm wearing for a few hours in a climate controlled wine bar or restaurant get washed after I've worn them for 3 or 4 nights out. And I have about 3 pair in faded blue, dark blue, and black. So with 9 pair, they may only get washed twice a year. It cuts down on fading.

But now they just dont feel as comfortable as they used to. If I wear a pair of jeans... they will still be clean after one wear for sure, unless some spill accident or something

I'm pretty dirty boy. So I get dirty every day so anywhere from 5 to 7 pair of Levi's. I wash on the weekends but once it starts snowing I have a couple pair dickey's and and a couple pairCarhartts

Depends what I’m doing and also on the temperature.
For work (farming): 1 day.
For volleyball or something like that: 1 evening/day.
For something that I’m not getting dirty or sweaty: probably up to 4-5 times/evenings. not more than 2 full days

@Maybe_Maybe_not people wash their clothes far too much and it destroys them and leads to unnecessary waste.
I'll wear jeans for a couple weeks, t shirts two-three times, use the same towel 2-3 times, wear pajamas for a week. Basically the only thing you should be washing after every wear/use is your underwear and anything you got physically dirty/sweaty on/in.
