In what ways, even if they may be subtle, did you start noticing that people of opposite sex actually pay attention to you?

when i was a younger teen I didn't get that much attention from guys being overweight and looking like a butch lesbian. it's more at 15/16 or so that I started to feel truly seen like that by guys. but anyways I still did manage to get a little bit of attention when i was in my early teens. it was just a little sprinkle of guys having crushes on me. which manifested before any confession, as being nicer and gentler with me than before or than with other people, and getting a bit flustered if I touched them, complimented them, etc. i did get just 2-3 encounters (nothing bad happened) with pdf files but that didn't really make me think i could be found hot or anything. overall i didn't feel seen sexually, it was just kinda romantically. starting at 15 1/2 and very much at 16, is when I started to notice I could get attention more broadly. it was mostly from people leering at me or checking me out in public, hitting on me directly, saying inappropriate things to me, complimenting my appearance in the street, some treating me a bit differently like less like a kid and more like someone they found attractive, being extra sweet to me but because i'm a girl, sliding in my dms for sexual reasons, etc

They have always paid attention to me for as long as I can remember. It still happens to this day, even though I have been married since 2010.

Sometimes this shit ain't exactly subtle.

• Constant attempts to lock eyes. Over and over again. Happened last night.
• Women will relocate across the length of a room to stand or sit right next to me. Happened last night.
• Compliments in an attempt to start a conversation.
• They buy me a drink.
• They'll just flat out tell me I'm handsome.
• Touching my arm, shoulder, chest. Happened last night. Actually she grabbed my bicep with both hands and just clung to me, LOL.
• Hugs on arrival and departure even if we've only been talking for 5 minutes. z
• They send their friends to tell me they want to meet me. Happened last night. Then the entire group relocated to surround me.

Implicitly? Over time I picked up on questionable signs that should not be trusted like:

• She smiled, or laughed more than usual
• She gazed in a more focused way than usual
• She wanted to maintain conversation whereas it seemed a little bit artificial

And I assume I send these precise signs that can't be trusted lol

And then it never ceases to not surprise me how nothing ever eventuates. And it's not like I am making a move neither do I care to. Yet I'm always amused that "women think I don't notice - yet I do" 👁️👁️👁️👁️🫠

I dont, I dont see myself as attractive. If a girl smiles at me there's something wrong
