What meaningful heirloom or antique was passed down in your family?

My gradmother recently passed me down her beautiful fashion collection that once belong to my great grandmother designer dresses that my great grandmother bought from her favorite boutiques of Chicago. I have a degree in fashion and I love love taking care of all beautiful tresure that once belong to my great granmother I even have some fashion bags that once belong to my great great grandmother she bought from France.

Make me wonder if anyone on here has passed down generation antiques?

We used to have LOADS of them because grandma loved antiques and we took care of them, if possible. Sadly, my asshole greedy ex-sisters screwed me and the rest of the family out of nearly all of them and there's practically none left!!
At one point, she had a collection of rare Postage Stamps and, before she died in `74, divided them up into brown paper bags into what she thought would be of equal value and I think she let each of her 6 kids pick which bag they wanted. Seems to me that dad got the one with the full sheet of upside-down Jenny stamps! I recall them being in the house somewhere but, they eventually vanished!! I'm guessing my ex-sisters stole those, too!!

I had an 18 karat gold pocket watch That was was passed down to the youngest son Unfortunately, many years later, it was stolenat my house in a house robbery when I went to Las Vegas, Vegas on vacation. I guess it ended with me. I was the last man and that’s why I don’t have kids today

In my family, the most meaningful “heirloom” is a small gold locket from my Spanish grandmother. Nothing fancy, but it has a tiny old photo and her initials engraved. I love how it connects generations the way your dresses and bags connect you to yours.
