Mine was using too many active ingredients at once. Simplier routines usually gave me better results.

Trending & News There are some chemicals in skincare products that do more harm than good. Google it and you find an extensive list. Stick with natural products, or don't use skincare products at all.
Put more sun scream on and moisturiser and taken my make up off at the end of the day.
Use sunscreen.
For me, it was skipping sunscreen unless it was “super sunny” 🙃
I took great care with serums, masks, acids… and then walked around unprotected. Total sabotage. Once I started using a proper broad‑spectrum SPF every single morning (and reapplying), my texture, dark spots, and redness all improved way more than with any fancy product.

I used to wash my face all the time with soap but it irritated my skin, so when I stopped doing that and I washed it only using water or a specific cleanser it really helped.
Another mistake was using oils on my hair. My hair can't handle that shit, it is low porosity and not thick and I felt like it was doing more harm to my hair rather than good because I developed dandruff due to the use of oils. When I stopped, dandruff was gone.
Another thing that was a mistake was using conditioner only after I shampooed my hair, whereas now I use it in the beginning, I only shampoo my roots and leave the conditioner on my ends without rinsing it.
For example:
Conditioner ends - Rinse -Shampoo roots and Conditioner ends - Rinse - Shampoo roots and Conditioner ends - Rinse and finally Conditioner ends - Rinse.
While in the past it was : Shampoo everything- Rinse, Shampoo everything -Rinse, Conditioner ends - Rinse
It didn't work at all for my hair.
