I'm going to assume most townies haven't heard of the style but do you like them?

I refer to them here as "two-tone" shorts.
I have numerous two-tone shorts and pants.
Years ago, I started a trend of two-tone clothing and accessories among my friends and family.
We've been keeping up with our trend.
Others have followed.
Unfortunately shearing shorts don't look suitable for actually shearing in.
Classic attire is a blue singlet with a long tail and baggy trousers because there is abrasion and a lot of bending.
Shearers have moved onto moccasins and given up on the riding boots the models are wearing too.
I mean yeah? They look fine. Hardly the most ridiculous thing I've seen people wear and it's not even close. As long as the color combo itself is good such as black and white and not something like really bright yellow combined with really bright pink.
Huh, never seen them before. I think certain colors would look pretty good. Not sure about for guys so much.
Women for the win 💪🏻😂 you show those guys lol
I had to google them the first time I heard about them 😂 The harlequin, two‑tone look is bold and very “statement farmcore.” Personally, I think they can be fun and quirky on the right person and setting, especially festivals or country fairs. For everyday city wear, I’d probably tone them down, but as a rural trend, I kind of love the confidence.

There is nothing shocking by wearing such "shearing" shorts, is there? Honestly I think it is not a bad idea, and may even be fun. Let people, as well women as men, wear whatever they like.
I can’t share shorts with a woman I’m too big for her to muscled up. Women do like to wear our shirts to go bed because this shirt goes all the way down to her legs, and for some reason, they love it. I’m not a homosexual. I will not share shorts with a man. So I will not be sharing any clothes with anybody., I hope this has helped your question for the right answer here.
As an elder man it reminds me that every coin has two sides.
For a moment there the top photo almost looked like Poppy but then she doesn't have tatts or that kind of dog lol 😂 right @purplepoppy
It's an interesting concept. I haven't seen it where I live in Southeast US, though I'm sure they exist.
Looks okay on women. On men, I'll stick with same color shorts.
I reckon it'd be an especially exciting experience to be sheared by you while you're wearing these shorts @purplepoppy !
As a lad, I liked a pianist named George Shearing !!!
It hurts my brain. I can only process one color at a time.
so... it's not just the food... lol
Shorts look fine on women. They look silly on men.
I like them on women. I wouldn’t wear them. Seen a bit feminine.
Only on women ofc @purplepoppy no need to show us 😄👀😬
Women rock it better and do it better @purplepoppy eh 😋
Never heard of it but I'd be very picky about the color combo since it'd be harder to match with
They look fine. Do either genders need underware with them... just curious
Nope, I'm not wearing shorts, I think only girls should wear shorts, they look good in them.
Not my cup of tea 😄
I love wearing shorts but I don't personally love how they look on me, oh well
They look horrible.
Shorts are shorts. I go by function, not fashion.
They are ok but not flattering
