Well I don't think I've heard that expression before, so all I can do is guess.
What I think they might have meant by it was that you are pretty, and look nice, but you don't go crazy with it. Like that you are very attractive, yet your beauty is sort of calm and basically not flashy, bold or in any way looks like you made a big production out of it. Kinda like how some people say that a person dresses loudly. I think they were going for an antithesis.
Either that or you're really beautiful, and they see you as they shy quiet type who keeps to herself, but considering that they were just talking about your face, I suppose that wouldn't apply here.
Anyway I say it's probably the first one I was going for. That you're beautiful, but in a subtle way that isn't bold or flashy. That's probably what they were talking about. I think some people call that a natural beauty. Still it's hard to say. I suppose if you ever see that person again, you can always just ask them. I imagine that would be the best way to settle this for sure. But yeah, for now these are all just my theories.
What do you think? Do you think it fits?

I never knew beauty made noise, but I guess that means your a really quiet but beautiful type of person.
I've never heard of this before but it seems like it came from a very artistic type person. It could mean that you have subtle beauty to you. It's not a conventional type beautiful like what you see plastered on advertisements or TV but it's the kind that doesn't draw attention, something only those with special eyes can appreciate.
