Beauty can be equated with attraction, and if you look at attraction it is based on multiple factors as specific to each individual, in agreement with symmetry, and sometimes asymmetry. Sometimes (I read) perfect looks can be daunting and a deterrent. So it varies for sure.

I think natural is beauty and beauty in art form can range in a very wide spectrum. Many may agree on one form of beauty but still NOT everybody, and on other forms many may dislike it and only few to one may like it.

But some beauty as with attraction arouses people.

Beauty can be this peaceful therapeutic thing that keeps the onlookers almost entranced and wishing to stay visually fixed in this object or living thing. It definitely varies

So no one should hate themselves for not matching up to the most popular forms of beauty. They should see the beauty of themselves in their own, and be comfortable enough to accept that and have fun with other forms to compliment or enchanted their natural beauty.

Beauty can be somewhat subjective, but for the most part, the majority of people find the similar features attractive. That's why there are people in the world that are considered models and attractive to most people.

The majority of men will find that girls with hourglass figures and have softer features are attractive. And most girls will find that find that men that are fit and not overly muscular or big are attractive.

Natural beauty is attractive. We are biologically wired to be attracted to specific features.

It’s in the eye of the beholder absolutely. But there are things more universally attractive and unattractive.

The real thing is take care of yourself. Find the style you like but most people would be surprised how attractive they would look. If they would…. Shower… Brush teeth. Use deodorant. Get a haircut at least every few months. Do something witn their hair. Wash their clothes make sure they don’t stink…. ETC.

But look it’s like I’ve seen dudes here get into full blown arguments over if short or tall girls are more attractive…. Really? We all have our own things we like and dislike. Sone like blondes others are into brunettes.

If it is physical beauty you are talking about like how beautiful of a face that girl has, it is the golden ratio.

Therefore it is having the right proportions. Nose to lips ratio, width of face to length of face ratio, space between the eyes, and lots more of these ratios. So you can actually measure it. I hope this helps and enlightens you a bit more. :)

The golden ratio by the way is found in many other things in nature, and even in buildings which are pleasing to the eye. The ratio is approximately 1 : 1.618

If for example you measure the width of your lips and divide it by the width of your nose you should get 1.618 if it is perfect, 1.5 if it is pretty good, 1.4 if it is average, etc etc.

Chose symmetry, but beauty is almost all down to what is biologically advantageous. Either for reproduction, a new land to exploit, some resource that’s good for us.
