What's "quiet charm"?

I got a fortune cookie yesterday that read, "Your quiet charm will attract the attention of others". I'm thinking it's something related to being an introvert but somehow charming.
How can one achieve that?

This one person I was dating once... Has this. I was able to ignore the three others around me fighting over a phone even when one put the phone down the back of my pants as I was running a dungeon I World of Warcraft. Still just didn't pay much more attention as I was busy. Yet when I caught a glimpse of Charlotte and could barely hear the two words she said to her friend there in the kitchen just off from the living room I just instantly felt the need to get up and go talk to her. She was shy and had her face partially behind her hair and I was done in there. Smitten 100% too bad I fucked it up a year later

It means you don’t have to try to be anything more than who you are. You are not ‘loud’ by boasting about your accomplishments or by going outside of your comfort zone. It means when you talk to people in a calm and reassuring manner those people feel safe and comfortable around you. People are attracted to others who don’t take energy from them and are attracted to charming people that add value and l joy

Does that match your overall personality? In a group some are louder and outgoing and you are more the glue and in the background supporting others

Yeah in a group I tend to make sure the quiet ones feel included; I know how it feels to be left out lol. Your insight made so much sense; thank you! I'm about to meet a friend's mom this week and have been a little nervous, the fortune just seemed really coincidental.

That’s kind to include others. Why be nervous about meeting someone’s mom. Or do you like your friend?

I do like him a bit. He's a friend to my family as a whole, so it'd be tough to determine if he has any interest in me. I just want to make a good impression on his mom if anything

Her impression will be based on watching you interact with him in front of her. Be polite, use your manners, include her in questions. But mostly relax as he will feel comfortable if you are smiling and laughing along with him. She’s his mom and she loves him. So if she knows you are a potential future girlfriend she wants to see how well you treat and respect her son.

Just that advice because I’ve been there and thought it’s all about my interaction with her moms mom, but later got feedback it was my interaction with her daughter.

That's the most helpful advice I've gotten on this subject. I sometimes worry my quietness deems me naive. I tend to smile a lot when I'm shy though! And I've been working on talking to most adults as if they were someone my age. I'm just glad my family's meeting his mom now. Just being a decent friend is the best bet for anything in the future.
