One Flirting Tip

Okay, so truth be told I've never been flirted with (well, and realised they were flirting that is) and never deliberately flirted with anybody. So feel free to shoot this idea down.

I had an idea a few moments ago, I was thinking about people flirting or reading a myTake about flirting or something. I've forgotten already, but it went along the lines of how the approached pulls a blank on what to say.

I have a solution.

So so many times a guy or girl will be told to bugger off because the person is either uninterested in you, or just doesn't want to be flirted with. My solution to this is.

Go go up to the person, say hi, tell them you're interested in getting to know them, would they be okay with that? Then if they give the go ahead, you can begin fumbling with what to say. If they say no then bugger off. Don't bug them.

There you have it. My solution.

This would absolutely weird me out. If you're interested in someone don't be so obvious what you're interested in because if you end not wanting to get to know the person more, but they are interested in you now then you have to deal with the awkwardness of explaining that you've changed your mind. You could just talk to them like any other human being. If you like what you hear then flirt/go from there.

The girl felt really intimidated and rejected me since I told her exactly what I wanted.
Luckily it turned out she wasn't my type and I was just too horny to not realize it.

I doubt it was because you told her exactly what you wanted, it was probably because she was more of a 'beat around the bush' kind of person. That or just not interested in you or perhaps any guy at the point in her life that you approached her.

That was your problem: she wan't you type. Why go for that? If she did respond favorably you'd have to let her down. Plus, people can tell when you are not being honest about your intentions.

As awesome as that would be, dont see that becoming the norm.
A lot of guys are scared of rejection, flirting gives us a opportunity to test the water and see if she at all interested. Walking up to some one and barley getting your name off before getting rejected sucks.
That also applies to girls who may like a guy, but dont want to seem too forward and ask him, "hey i like you do you like me".

Me personally i like the idea. I hate being rejected too, but hate wasting time when there is nothing there. The other reason this would be a great thing is because neither sex always knows when they are being hit on. Subtle clues and hints are missed all the time.

I am not sure you are talking about flirting but no that will not work, its too awkward. Flirting is about being comfortable in your own skin not like a robot asking a cold impersonal question.

You are talking about the approach. An approach should be slightly calculated but not impersonal. The flirting comes after you have her attention and have assessed her receptiveness of you.

Flirting isn't something you can just tell someone to say this line or that line. It's about your confidence and ability to make her feel special.

You master that and you will get any girl.

or just "hello I am attracted to you" and then assume that the feelings are reciprocated if they continue to talk. because if they wanted you to bugger off they would tell you to.

i can't really be bothered trying to 'read' passive-aggressives that want you to bend over backwards to understand their labyrinth of cues and hidden meanings. either they are attracted or not, pretty straight forward.

(because otherwise you give off too much of a permission-seeking if you ask 'is that ok with you' and a woman is likely to smell passiveness a mile off... pussyfooting around is never attractive to hot women, believe me).

I prefer someone to ask than just go ahead personally but I see what you mean. I just don't really want to encourage the whole 'assuming she's okay with it but not really knowing' thing.

well, i mean as a guy (it's not like there's a whole bunch of horny females on the hunt out there, lol) you can be implicit / respectful without saying the whole, "oh but is it ok my being here" because that just comes of as a bit lame tbh.

"hey, i just saw you and thought you were attractive so I had to come over to meet you."

is respectful enough. if she's not interested she's probably just going to say something like "i'm taken / i'm not interested /etc."

what I do is get flirting joke lines from google and remember them in my head and when having a conversation with a girl I say those lines later on with the conversation, I've actually made like 3 girls giggle SCOOORE
