Guys help! We used to talk every day, now he is ignoring me. Is he playing games, or was he never a friend to begin with?

I've known him since early last year. We live a few hours away. Text every single day all day ever since we met. We FaceTime instead of phone call, but haven't in a while. I tried to recently but he was busy.

Lately he's been leaving my messages for the whole day, and not responding with anything that can start a convo.

He isn't busy. Nothing in his mind, so he says. He ignores me when I try to talk to him about this.

And he told me had feelings for me about a month and a half ago.

I'm so confused. I thought things were progressing, now he's disappearing.

I wasn't even going to message him today. But I did because I don't want us to never talk again. There were two days in the past 2 weeks that we didn't talk, and this is so not like us. So I sent him a message and didn't hear anything back for about 6 hours. It hurts. Kills me.

How do I know if he lost interest or was never a friend to begin with? Do I really need to not even write to him at all? My day is enjoyed when I'm not being ignored. My evening is tense now and it hurts me.

well i think its time to move on because if he can't make time for you and your making time for him its not fair to you and your wasting your time waiting for a guy who won't put enough effort to at least tell you hey im busy or im busy this week i can't talk but don't worry ill talk to you as soon as i get free time its not hard for anyone to say that to someone but clearly this guy has lost lack of motivation into putting effort in a relationship he might not be interested in having a relationship right now or talking a lot relationship requires work in a way and people who work on other stuff just gets simply drained out by doing more sometimes people need space for themselves and for there family and friends to but honestly this guy doesn't seem to care much about your feelings or else he would of thought more on letting you know whats up instead of saying nothing to you to make you worry so move on and find someone who is willing to make time for you because your wasting time on a guy whose instead of making you happy bringing you down by not caring enough to at least show that he cares he may not be busy at all but you can't stay stuck on a guy who isn't worth being stuck over especially by the lack of simple stuff that he not even doing or wanting to do

Ok so if you can't reach him over the phone if your able to meet in person you should approach him and ask what is wrong. Physical contact is more meaningful than a text message. Ask if he does have feelings till, if you are being too "aggressive", is he even ready for a relationship stuff like that. Often the "good" guys (the ones that are what a women wants and is faithful) will make sure that they are ready for a relationship before jumping into one.
