Why is my guy friend not talking to me that much anymore? Is he loosing interest?

We used to text nearly every day, now its getting less and less. I think he used to like me, does that have anything to do with not talking to me?

Being he is still young, sweetie, still wet behind the ears, it is bound to happen, doesn't surprise me in the least that he may Be----Loosing interest.
It's nothing that you have done, although I realize if you both don't go anywhere past the school room or halls, that it can get dull and boring.
To spark some more sizzle, dress yourself up to kill More and see if this isn't an eye opener along with a Thrill. It just might get him More in the mood to press a a button More on his end with the 'Texts' And Get him to open up a bit More as well.
Also, see if you both can't start working out something where you could at least go somewhere after school to hang out. I had a First Love, a First boyfriend for 3 years. We went to different schools, but every month or so our parents would meet up so we both could be together.
And if you find that Nothing is working, move on and find someone who is more deserving of someone like yourself who even took time to come here and ask what to do.
Guys like him at your age may be a dime a dozen, but when the Right penny comes along and shines, you'll know that he is worth His weight in gold.

Wow, thanks a ton!
We actually used to meet up a bit, I even stayed at his house- while his parents weren't home a couple weeks ago.
At school we have different groups of friends and when I sometimes go round to his group (one of my friends are friends with some guys in that group) he would basically ignore me... but then he would text me after school.
Im just confused as to why all of a sudden he would stop talking to me. I don't want to lose him even though I can't control it :/

You're so welcome, sweetie... Perhaps he is eying someone else, let's just put a few cards on the table... Or perhaps he doesn't want to b ein a relationship but be free... Perhaps it is time to lay your own Queen of cards on the table and have a long chat with him. He may be afraid to face you with his Ace in his pocket and this is why he is acting like this. Open lines of convo is the best so you don't feel this relationship is a joke or have a joker in it. When I had my First love, after 3 years, I too saw a difference in him, my fault, I blame myself for it. He ended up with a girl whom he had been flirting with and today they are married, this doctor and him, with 6 kids to boot.. lol.. Better her than me.:)) xx

guys any age have this tendency to be this coward who can't face you down with truth.. They would rather leave helpful hints of putting someone on their pay no mind list, rather than sit down and talk it out and have to explain Why...

I agree (that people find things easier online) but I find it pretty sad that this is what the world has come to... not being able to talk in person because its awkward but have amazing conversations online.
Thats what I like about him- its not awkward anytime we're around eachother.
I will talk to him when school goes back as it is the holidays now.

First thing I notice, you refer to him as a "guy friend". Are you really interested in him? Because being treated as a "guy friend" can be a HUGE blow on self esteem and can vary his evaluation of potential relationship with you in tremendous ways. If a guys likes you and want more than friendship, if you don't give him hope, he's going to look somewhere else. Why? Because it's much easier on one's soul to get on and look somewhere else than to go through so much uncertainties and pain. To me, the way you asked this question is the root of the problem. What do you want? Is he a friend or are you interested? If you want more than friendship, give a fucking sign, that is vital!!! If you want more than friendship, give him something to cling on!!! I'm not saying actively go after him 24/24, but if you don't show any sign of willingness/interest , chances are he won't even bother getting involved with you. However, if you are not romantically interested in him, chances are that he IS on the other hand, and you should not hint about any hope for a relationship, always involve other friends in the equation so he doesn't believe in fantasy.

I wasn't sure if he did like me and I didn't want to drop hints in case he didn't like me...
About calling him a guy friend- what else am was I supposed to call him?
And if he didn't like me then why has he stopped talking to me?

It could be. Maybe he's found someone else he likes. Maybe he got discouraged and thought you weren't interested.

Unfortunately that is out of your control. You can try talking to him and ask him what's going on and that you're feeling like you two aren't talking as much. Do this in person, not over text.
