Should I back off or ask him why he’s not talking to me much anymore?

i thought this and i were kinda of rekindling after 10 years, at first he was chatty and snap me a lot, we started talking on fb and he would respond right away and talked to me like old friends, so that was exciting, and then he gave me his snap so we started talking on there, he would send me multiple snaps of what he’s doing and we were also messaging back and fourth and this was all like last week, now he’s leaving me on delivered, barely talking to me, barely snapping but i think he snaps other people I don't know but im just so confused, I don't know if it’s best for me to back off and just forget him or take a chance and ask him why he’s not talking to me anymore but i don’t want to come off as desperate or needing his attention i thought we were have a good time talking to each other again so I don't know i did try leaving him on delivered too for like 16 hrs and then sent him like two snaps and he just opened it so it’s confusing I don't know.

i mean a little bit, i used to like him back then and we hung out a lot when we were 16/17 then he abandoned me for someone younger and better, it hurt 10 years later we crossed paths again so i don’t think i think romantic feelings right now but i do want us to talk and get to know each other 😭

U left them on read and did toxic shit too. There’s no friendly vibe between u too , can be because of the feelings u have coming in between. If there’s no friendship that’s healthy no bond is worth it
