Behaviour of a shy guy around his crush?

So we were doing a tiny tiny lab in class today and it was my friend, my crush, his friend and me in a group. I was always beside my crush and really nervous. he's a shy , quite type but he still talks here and there. And for a long time i sensed that he liked me and so i was expecting some sort of big reactions when i was near him. But all that he did was constantly put his hands in and out of his pocket and move positions every once in a while. If i was bending down on the counter, he would bend down with me. But when i looked at him to ask him a question ( he's taller than me) he didn't look at me he was looking at the lab. What really wouldve gave me a hint would jave been sweaty palms. But his hands were not sweaty aaat alll. Like mine were so sweaty i couldnt put them on the counter. So i was like awe his hands are not sweating :( but im not sure if thats a big sign HELLPPP

I don't know about him, but I am a shy guy and if there is a girl I am interested in around I tend to act like she doesn't exist because in reality I don't know what to even say to her. I tend to ignore even tho my heart is telling me not to I just don't have the confidence and outgoing personality to face her. I've never had sweaty palms tho, I know from the shy guys perspective you might have to do more of the action, flirt with him, touch him maybe on the arm if he is shy he isn't going to take control or action so just because he somewhat ignored you and didn't have sweaty palms doesn't mean he doesn't like you. but I know when the girl makes the first move its a huge turn on for me so you might have to put more work into it. this is just from a shy guys perspective hope this helps

well he was talking to me somewhat and we were discussing on how we should do that lab but when i looked at him he didn't really look. he just seemed slightly fidgety. but in normal times, he looks and stares at me alooot

I'm shy as crap but my hands don't get sweaty I don't think. Maybe he was drying them off by putting them in his pocket ;) When a girl I like is near me I cannot give the reaction that I want to because of the shyness, lol. Don't think he doesn't like you because he doesn't act super interested because he could very well be too shy to act on his feelings :)

really? i thought that the more shy you are, the more you will show your interest. i dont know but other times he looks at me a lot

I would say if he didn't like you then he wouldn't care how he acted.
