I recently discussed with a guy friend whether or not there was more to our relationship and after denying that he liked me more than a friend and admitting he had a girlfriend despite hiding her from me for months I decided to make a clean brake and not hang out with him. However he's asked me a few times through email and text how I was, what I was up to and where I am I moving too. I feel like now that I am keeping my distance he's checking up on me and I don't really understand why.

Want's to keep you as a coat hanger, so basically if he dumps his girlfriend or get's dumped, he has you as backup. Sorry, the guy's a loser.

Thanks. I was fairly certain that he liked me and every time I would keep my distance he'd appear again. I know that it is bad but it kind of makes me feel a bit better knowing that I didn't do something wrong. Thanks!
