Why is this super hot guy on my campus always alone?

I know I am going to sound really creepy and like a stalker but there is this one guy that lives in the same dorm building as my roommate and I and we both have had a huge crush on him ever since we saw him. Us along with every other girl on our floor actually lol... he is so ridiculously good looking and has these green eyes that are just so amazing and I could stare at all day and still not get enough. And he is in really good shape also so its the entire package... but we've never actually talked to him other than saying hi in passing because he never stops to talk to me or anyone.

And I've never actually seen him smile which is kind of weird but also kind of sexy for some reason. But the thing is he is always on his own and doesn't seem to notice/care that every girl in our dorm thinks he's super sexy. He always eats alone at the cafeteria and I've seen him at the library by himself a lot. It's like he doesn't even notice all the stares he gets from girls. Like does he even know how hot he is? Most other guys would be picking up girls left and right if they had his looks but he doesn't ever hit on any girls.

We talk to his roommate sometimes and he said that they don't really talk or see each other that much because he's never in his dorm... but he never mentioned having a girlfriend so he thinks he's single. And I doubt he's gay because he doesn't look or act gay and his roommate said he doesn't think he's gay either.

We are both living on campus for the summer and I really want to start talking to him but I have no idea how to do it since I hardly ever see him and when I do he usually just says hi in passing or doesn't say anything...

Do you think there's something wrong with this guy? Whats his deal?

I used to be like that guy until I lost my eyebrows I was really quiet and didn't notice how much women were attracted to me, but just cause you are hot doesn't mean you can't have a quiet and lone wolf personality. It doesn't mean guys didn't pick on him in school just cause he was attractive or maybe he acts like that cause he has a rough life or had a rough childhood, I had a rough childhood in school I got picked on and beat up a lot and that certainly played a big role in why my personality is the way it is now which is lone wolf.

He probably is not even aware of that, she says he is always alone, so those girls dont do any or many reasonable efforts to be noticed or to be approchable

Just because you are good looking doesn't mean all you think is how to get girls, or he could be shy, or not noticing that you are noticing him if yo u are even doing that. Maybe he wants to talk to and even bang girls, but is intimidated, doesn't find the right opportunity, maybe he has not noticed, or doesn't know what you want, or maybe even he is not interested a the moment you will never know until you ask.
do you know its hard for some people to approach complete strangers? how is he gonna know you and some other girls are interested if you don't talk nor you show any other signs. I have that personality, even though like this guy, I've been called hot by many girls. Many men are loners. I haven't noticed that it depends on looks at all.
