What does it mean if a guy compliments a girl on her skills and achievements?
Is it true that if a guy is interested in a girl he would compliment her looks rather than her skills or knowledge?

No very much no! Of course males can compliment girls without fancying them, but when I really like a girl I tell her everything about her that I like (not all at once). The girl at the moment, yes she is incredibly beautiful, but there is so much about her that I love about her beyond that- that is what makes the rest of her irresistible to me -even if a physically perfect girl came along she couldn't trump the 'package'. That is why I tell the girl everything I love

If a guy sees a girl as a whole person, as something more than just her looks, why wouldn't he compliment her on her skills and achievements? That should be a good thing, and could definitely mean he's interested in her.

No, it's better in my book. Guys are slowly learning girls don't like it so much when they're complimented on their looks and that it needs to be more meaningful.
