What does it mean when we lock eyes?

A girl I know and like for awhile now has been sending mixed signals to me since we met, she says she doesn't want to be together right now cuz she's with someone , but she still treats me the same. We usually flirt and I'm already her wallet.. Lol what's your opinion? Do you stare into guys eyes?

it's weird... I'm shy so it can go either way... I won't stare for a long time if I'm not interested... but at the same time, if there's a guy I really like and he tries to lock eyes, I really want to and try to but because I'm shy and find them attractive, it's really hard for me to hold it without blushing and so I automatically look down to hide that I'm blushing...

all the time. i'm naturally confident and tend to stare when i'm really trying to pay attention to what they're saying.

but there's different kinds of stares. there's the "i'm listening" stare, and then the "i like you a lot" stare. it depends on context, and really, if any words were exchanged.

Inly when I really like the guy I do that (: she probably liles you but doesn't want to end whatever she has with the other guy because she's afraid of ending something for something that might not work.
