Can I Un-Reject a guy?

I went to a party last weekend and had two guys flirting with me pretty much the whole night. As I was on my way out, the one I was interested in asked for my number but I did not give it to him, mainly because I felt bad doing so right in front of the other guy who had been pursuing me the whole night (he had also asked for my number already and I declined). If I see him again, how can I let this guy know that I actually am interested? Or should I just let it go?

My advice?
Ask a friend to get his number. Call him, and ask him to out to a lunch date. When there, explain to him exactly what you just told us. Then, let him know that you couldn't just leave it that way, because you really wanted to give him your number and see where things would go with him. Leave it light though, don't over do it. You don't want to come across as desperate. So, no over statements like:
"I REALLY had a good time with you!" Or
"I'm SOO SOO SORRY!"
Say something like:
"I had fun talking with you that night, and I'd have liked to give you my number then. But this other guy had asked earlier and I turned him down. So when you asked and he was watching, I felt bad. So I said no, trying to spare his feelings. Rejection is bad enough on its own, I didn't want to add insult to injury, ya know?"
If he's cool about it, then he's probably a nice guy. If he's a douche about it, then you dodged a bullet, cuz he's a jerk. No guy who wants you to gravel, or kiss his ass to pet his ego, is a decent guy. Not a single one of them. Hopefully he's a good one!

No "signals" will work here.

You're going to have to walk to him, tell him how u feel, and why u regret rejecting him, and that u want him.

You're going to have tell him it was a mistake and put yourself in the firing line but please note a lot of guys will be reluctant to have anything more to do with any girl that rejects them.

There's no harm in seeing what happens, but don't expect a good outcome is all I'd say.

Not by being your usual subtle fearful self. If you were blunt and obvious enough to shut him down and reject him, you have to be equally blunt in telling him you made a mistake.

I wasn't trying to play games, I just am not used to getting that much attention from guys (ie having multiple flirt with me at one time) and I made a wrong decision. People fuck up sometimes. I was just wondering if there's a way to save this or if I'm better off just moving on.
