Depends on your exposure mate. I'm Asian, grew up in a very multicultural area, never been attracted to anything but Asian girls. One day, packed my shit, moved to a new state where there were very few Asian people. Now the last few girls I've dated have all been white and actually in many ways I now find white women more attractive than Asian women. I think because my social circle was previously so limited, I had very little contact with non-asian women and wasn't really able to understand what's so attractive about them. But at the end of the day, we'll always have certain preferences

Most brown or black people are more attracted to white people. It's sad but true. My sister only likes white guys and is married to one so is my brother and his baby moma is white. I personally don't care as long as he is nice to me and tall. I attract middle eastern men as long as I can remember.

I don't really think there is an explanation for why we are attracted someone even more then others. We just like what we like of course some people will speculate many things that may more may not be true about why but the reality is that you can't help who you are attracted to :)

We are not born, knowing what beauty is, right? We don't just make up what we find beautiful in our heads, of course we learn this as we get older, yes?
Ok, so, this is done via cultural transmission. That's how we learn how to view the world, through the culture that surrounds us. We can't help that, we are influenced every moment of the day. It's natural. Agreed, so far? Ok.
So, who dictates a culture? Whoever the predominant race/ ethnicity is, of course.
Who has historically dominated the western world? White people.
The dominant race will dictate cultural norms and ideals, they will set the beauty and status standards too, in any population, right?
So, in the western world, we have all been brought up, viewing European beauty ideals as the standard. A lot of non westernised places are now bombarded with westernised media and accepting western cultural to- globalisation.

Of course a lot of people have realised there is no, one standard of beauty, but for the wider population, it's more difficult to reject what we have been brought up believing, not even realising we have had that influence.

Lets assume you are correct that everything we idolise is based on white standards. What is a considered a beautiful woman then? Slim? Clear, soft skin? Soft, long hair? Yes would you agree? Why is it then that Asian women, arguably fulfil those criteria more so than white women?
Same thing for men. What is an attractive man by Western Standards? Tall, strong, muscular? Would you say those are all good qualities for a man? Well. Black men on average more blessed with those qualities than white men.
So yes, white standards do exist, but don't often work in their favor. The reason why people aren't attracted to black women is for physical reasons. Same thing why a lot of women aren't attracted to Asian men. Is it any coincidence that Asian men and black women do worse at dating. While black men and Asian women do relatively much much better? You can read articles, studies etc they all point to this fact.

@Mgoods Its very simple. You see heaps of black guys getting or going for white girls yes? Or Asian girls going for white guys. So lets assume these people have internalised racism. Then why are the white people reciprocating? If a black guy dates a white girl, then clearly it means the white girl is attracted to the black guy too. So your argument doesn't make sense, if everyone is attracted to a Caucasian face and white skin, why are these white women attracted to these black men who have VERY different features? Same thing with Asian women? I can tell you also there's HEAPS of black guys attracted to Asian women too. They don't have Caucasian features either.
Another way to think about it, look at White women in Asian countries. Most Western women that have been to Asia will tell you, they don't get anywhere with dating there. Guys there don't ever consider them dateable, because they're often 'too big' or 'too fat', if Caucasian was the standard shouldn't they be jumping at it?
@Mgoods Also, I think every race has an intrinsic attraction. E. g. Most Asian guys prefer Asian girls. I'm sure most couples you see are Asian guy with Asian girl. I can tell you most of my Asian guy friends will ONLY date Asian girls. And I'm sure this is true for other races as well.
So as a minority living in a Caucasian dominated society you are at a disadvantage immediately. Since the majority of your potential suitors would Caucasian, and if most people are intrinsically attracted to their own race, then that means only a small percentage of people will find you attractive over other races.
And on the topic of races, there are only 3 main races in my opinion. White, Asian and Black. Every ethnicity is one of or a mix of the above. Latino's south Americans do better, because a lot of them can trace back some sort of European ancestry.

Ok. Ima just answer in simple sentences, just to avoid confusion.
1. UK as an example 7.5% ethnic minority, 92.5% white. Out of that many white people, some are bound to be attracted to ethnic minorities, some people do accept other ideals of beauty, it's not impossible. It's just not the majority.
2. Asia is not included when I say the western world. So they won't adhere to western ideals. They have their own cultural ideals, appeals and attractions. That's standard.
3. That's cultural and familiarity- as in we are drawn to the people we grow up with and are comfortable with. Plus family expectations.
But, is that really attraction?
If an Asian girl was brought up in a predominantly white neighbourhood (values and reinforces western ideals), then I'm sure she'd be more attracted to white men. But if you grow up in a place, or with parents tht reinforce and encourage non-western ideals, or in a neighbourhood with mostly their own ethnicity, then I'm sure they'd be more
