Why are girls such teases?

Tease = someone who is ambivalent about her interest.

Someone who shows interest in a man and then withdraws, baiting and reeling and moving away.

I think all girls do this as a measure of self worth and to see whether or not they "could" score. Not that they did score, but that they "COULD", to them that is an important measure of their self worth in attracting a mate. This is especially so if they target a very good looking and fine specimen of a male, even if they are not interested to begin with.

To a guy like me, it's just a waste of time and I cut them off. I don't play mind games and I feel they will use me in future if I succumb to them. So there.

But what think you of my view?

The only person I have ever "teased" was someone I really cared about. To him he said I was a tease but I did not think so. He was a good friend and I knew he was kind of a slut. I knew he once he got what he wanted he wouldn't try for me anymore. Well I wanted something more serious, not just a FWB because I actually cared about this guy. We hung out 3-4 times a week for about 6 months. We were drinking buddies, we were dinner buddies when we wanted to go out, we would hang out and watch movies and snuggle. He knew I wanted more. I knew he didn't. He wanted sex, if I gave it to him it was giving up on what I actually wanted. He said me snuggling with him and going out to dinner with him and getting drunk and staying at his house was me teasing him. To me it was just me spending more time with him. To me it wasn't teasing. To him it was. That's the only time I have ever been called a tease. There aren't many men I have found worth my time to put in the effort for them. And I wouldn't put in the effort just to say "just kidding" just to see if I could. What a waste of time.

Honestly teases are very annoying, many of my friends are big time teases.

I completely agree with your opinion on it though. I'm not going to lie, I have been a tease before.

Not my thing anymore.

But, I also think some girls aren't really teases, they just respect themselves and they want you guys to also respect them.

With every girl it is different, but its mainly just a girl testing what and who she can get.
