Should I wait on her to initiate conversation?

So I have been talking to this girl on and off, sometimes I initiate conversation and sometimes she does. Lately though I have been the one initiating the conversations and I don't know whether I should wait for her to initiate or if I should continue just talking to her normally? I've been waiting for her to initiate for the past two days but nothing... what should I do? Ignore her til she reciprocates or should I still initiate the conversations?

What is your goal here? Friends or do you want to get her out on a date?

If it is just friends then I don't think there is anything wrong with going a few more days without speaking to her. Say hello on Friday and ask her how her week went. Wait for Monday and ask her how her weekend went.

Keep initiating. Girls still have the mindset that guys have to make the move first. Once you get closer and she gets more comfortable around you she'll probably start talking to you first ;)

You right she can, So can you. She also could have a mindset like you , So basically at this point. Each is waiting to see who will make the first move , That's whats wrong with people now. We as people over think everything , My thing is if you like her call her when ever you want to. With the first two calls you can get a sense where a person stands , Common sense kicks in. If you feel she's not reciprocrating , Than a decision has to be made

Well the OP has been initiating most of the conversation recently, which means he is trying. I get what you are saying in that if both go quiet and wait for the other the ship might sail, but according to the OP he has been trying, she has been quiet, so she may not be all that interested anymore.
