What does it mean when your best guy friend hugs you or holds your hand?

My guy friend is the best! He may or may not like me. His friend told me and I kind of believe it. Almost every day he puts his arm around me. One day he said "Everybody hug her!" He squeezed my waist really tight and his friend said "Let go bro!" He said "Never." I said "Oww! You're so strong!" he said "Want me to stop?" I said "I don't know." He blushed and smiled and continued doing it. He is really strong so he hurt my sides. I thought it hurt, but it was adorable! He said "Watch! I can pick you up!" I playfully said "NO!" And he stared into my eyes and smiled and then he squeezed my waist and started to lift me. I was a foot off the ground but my teacher called me in the classroom. He whispered "Awwh! Man!" He thought I didn't hear. He also held my hand. Twice! The first day he did, I was in my English class and he had no where to sit. There was an empty seat next to me and he smiled and sat next to me. We had a convo for about 3 mins, there was a faint awkward silence and he grabbed my hand, slowly trailed it down to my wrist. He rubbed my wrist softly and playfully swung it back and forth. I looked at him and looked at my hand and smiled. He gave me the "are you nervous?" look and I blushed and I let him continue. He continued doing it until class was over. He didn't let go until I sat up out of my seat. He waved bye and I left for my next class. The second time he held my hand, I have this pressure point and someone hit it really hard and I collapsed and felt tears running down my face but my whole body was numb. I was only out for about 3 secs but it felt like more. I heard my guy friend say "Oh my god! ____! Are you okay?" I woke up and shook my head. When he saw the first glance of my blue eyes, he grabbed my hand with both of his hands and said "Oh god. Thank God your okay." It felt like a moment of truth, I smiled and grabbed his hand and patted it lightly. I snatched my hand away. Does he have a crush on me? Do I like him back?

i was this guy 5 years ago, i used to hold my girl friend hands and i used to take a good care of her all the time in college, we were in the same college and i used to call her a lot but the physical touch was important to me, i wanted her to feel safe with me, so i think he likes you and he really do.
