A hand hug is like a high five but you keep the hands together then both people use their thumbs to massage the back of eachothers hand. Therefore this is a hand hug.

For me it mean I love her and I would see how hard she would hold my hand or she will feel not comfortable it depends on the person who do it what he want to see or which reaction he's wating for but not all pepole look into it that deep however In general it mean I love u or I care about u
