In a very general sense, all those words can be thought of as being as an analogous to the word of "attractive". They aren't applied to women the guy isn't attracted to and thus they're all compliments. In a more specific sense, I like to think of them as "flavours" of attraction. Just as "sweet", "salty", "hearty" are variations of "tasty", "cute", "pretty", "sexy" are variations of "attractive". They describe subtle differences in the feelings that a woman's appearance and demeanour can induce in a man. It's not that one is better than the others, they're just different.
I use the word "cute" to describe girls who have an aura of youth, playfulness and innocence about them. That is not to infantilize them, I'm still quite conscious of their maturity. You can still be an adult and have these qualities. Being called cute is good. It means you haven't been jaded and transformed by your adulthood. You still radiate the ineffable happiness of youth. Maybe it sounds patronizing to girls but being able to see the smiling, happy girl in the adult woman is highly endearing. The feeling it elicits is somewhat like the "butterflies in your stomach" you get when you start liking girls for the first time. It makes you feel young and reminds you you're alive. "Pretty" is pretty similar.
Words like "hot" and "sexy" are more obviously sexual. They denote a woman who has an aura that arouses sexual desire in men. While "cute" or "pretty" might feel more fuzzy and give a guy the urge to pair bond, "sexy" is more earthy and bodily.
"Beautiful" and "Gorgeous" are more generic and all-encompassing adjectives that describe female beauty. They don't have as much of a "signature", I feel. Typically I use them for women who have sort of a "complete" effect on me. They're attractive in a multitude of senses.
None of these are mutually exclusive, by the way. A woman can be cute and sexy or pretty and hot. There is a lot overlap. Which one you get called depends not

In my opinion the best compliment I can give to a girl is "Gorgeous". To me, that adjective is like the best that a woman can receive. If I ever tell a woman she's gorgeous, I probably have a crush on her.
Cute, is for face, it has nothing to do with body, and she has a better than average face. But when a guy says it to a girl, it doesn't necessarily means that, I mean, many guys don't say the girl is beautiful, even if they think that, they rather say cute.
The same applies to pretty.
Beautiful is better than cute/pretty, but not as good as gorgeous, and it also applies uniquely to face.
Hot is body, and it mean a really attractive body, you probably have some sexual thoughts about it.
Stunning is the best adjective to describe a woman's body, she's probably a 10, so it's like perfection.
This is what I think of those adjectives. I get called cute by girls, and I feel like you, like if they're saying I'm a little kid. I know that guys don't think that when they call a girl cute, but I don't know if girls do think of me as a little kid when they call me cute.

Here's how I see it:
Cute: Somewhat attractive, not necessarily sexually attractive.
Pretty: Similar to cute, but a bit more good looking.
Beautiful: Very very attractive, like all around. Sexually and romantically. Could also be personality-wise.
Hot: More attractive on the sexual side. She has features that turn you on.
Stunning: Something like a mix between hot and beautiful; so much so that it stuns you.
Sexy: Pretty much interchangeable with hot.
Gorgeous: Highly attractive, similar to beautiful, but doesn't pertain to personality.I would also call you cute as it is just the way you look :) but don't feel like a little kid. My friends always tell me I'm cute and it is nice to hear. For the words above, every boy choose a way to make a complimant for girls, so don't take every complimant serious because we are normally supposed to make a complimant. One could choose to say ''pretty'' and one could say ''beatiful, or stunning'' It a little depends on the guy's feelings. If he is really affected by you, he can tell you ''gorgerous'' but for some who just considers you as a nice girl he could say she is pretty or beautiful. I hope this helps :)
The difference is subtle:
Cute = 5+, would not take serously
Pretty = 5+, not interested
Beautiful = 6+, considered
Hot = 6+, would pursue
Stunning = 7+, would go exclusive instantly
Gorgeous = 6+, term of endearment
Sexy is different. Sexy = 5+, sexually curious; it actually has very little value.If a guy says "fine" as in "You look fine" then you should worry. Otherwise if he uses any of the words you listed above, he is paying you a compliment.
They all mean different things to different guys. Generally they're referring to different kinds of 'appeal'.
When I imagine my 'dream girl', I'd descibe her as cute or gorgeous, not hot or sexy. I don't really know why tbh.They all mean the same to us, it's just that some terms are easier for us to use than others. Cute is easiest, sexy is toughest.
