What kind of things that girls do give you butterflies?
And what makes you notice a girl that you didn't used to have feelings for?
If I girl touches my arm or something I get butterflies, or if she sits really close (like almost touching) next to me or compliments me. Or of course whenever I touch her I get butterflies, like when we had to dance in gym I got butterflies with every girl I partnered with because you had to keep your hand on her back haha it sounds stupid but it happens to me. I get them when I approach a girl and she says hi and talks to me and stuff and I get them when I see a girl all dressed up, I have no idea why they just look so pretty I feel like I don't have chance. It's actually pretty hard to list all the things that give me butterflies, it's alot. Maybe because I've never been on a date and just like it when I get close to that stuff. What makes me notice girls I didn't feel for before... depends sometimes it's more of a I see a girl a few times and talk to her and over time develop a crush on her and realize it one day and other times it is more a moment where I notice her I remember I once saw a friend who had done something different with her hair and I had never seen her like that before and I was all blown away. Or another time I shot a look at this pretty girl and I think she saw me and looked back that gave me butterflies a little and I wondered what she thought of me and then I thought she might like me and that's when I sort of got attracted to her beyond just 'eye candy' you know? So I guess if you want a guy to notice you either show affection to show your interested and that it could work or change up your appearance a bit and turn some heads!
Wow, thanks for the detailed answer!
So basically subtle but deliberate brushing or touching works?
I do think I need to smile more at him when we aren't talking, like when we pass each other randomly at school.
Should I use his first name a lot? like "Hey, Mike" instead of just "Hey"?
What I'm worried about is whether making the signs too obvious will intimidate him or push him away.

Hand-Holding's always butterfly inducing for me.
