Why do girls who reject you still try to talk to you?

So my former female friend (we are no longer friends) rejected me. However, she tried to hang out with me afterwards as if nothing happened. That annoyed me. I told her she couldn't hang out in my house anymore. I completely cut ties with her. She said "fine, I won't bother you anymore." Haven't seen in her months and I feel better. I will not be friends with women who reject me ever. If they think they can reject me and continue a friendship with me, they're mistaken. I'm not feeding a woman's ego. I've cut ties with a lot of women because of this and it was the best thing I've done. Why do girls who reject you try to talk to you again?

You guys were FRIENDS - correct.

You asked get out- correct.

She rejected you as a date not as a FRIEND - correct.

You told he you ding want to date me I understand. I god you will similarly understand that I don't want to continue being FRIENDS- correct?

Or did you not tell her and just expect her to automatically know her not wanting to date you means you but wanting to be friends with her?

She would inly assume this was the case if she herself is likely to reject a friendship with a guy who had rejected her romantically.

If she would continue a friendship after a recording a rejection, there's no reading for her to think you would not want to continue being friends just bc she rejected you,

It's perfectly within you'd right not to be friends. But you should tell her that.

I know you finally did tell her. But if you didn't tell her before now , then there's no way she could know.

It's tempting for some people female or male - to just not mention it it kind if deep down hoping if things stay ambiguous the person they like may magically change their mind... You waited she came back as a friend you weren't having it. That's fine.

But if you really don't want someone to be your friend after rejecting you... Tell them. right away. Or if you don't dont expect them to know. :-)

I feel like they've said I'm not good enough so I don't want to hang out with them and be reminded of that, but I don't hold it against them because I've turned girls down too. They might want to hang out because they feel bad, or they do like you as a friend. It'd be pretty shit to reject you then cut you off. Some women are after the ego massage but they usually don't give you a yes/no answer and string you along in the friendzone.
