Why do girls lead you on then reject you?

I really started to like this girl, she lead me on and on and on and onnn... I would flirt and she would continuously flirt back. Over half the time she started flirting with me and gave me numerous signs she liked me! Then when I asked her to homecoming she rejected me and says she doesn't like me.

I feel like sh*t and want to die. Why do you girls do this?

Maybe you read too much into it? Being friendly and flirting sometimes get mixed up, mostly because the person wants to believe they like them. If she was just doing it for an ego boost or a sense of power that is wrong and you must remember not all girls are like that so making a generalisation is wrong. However my advice to you is to put it behind you and try not like girls so fast without knowing for sure they have genuine feelings for you. Also find an even hotter lass for homecoming and rub it in her face. That is all :)

I know what I'm going to say might be a little immature but sometimes you just have to fight fire with fire and youve gotta stop taking sh*t from less mature people. Next time you're in this situation you have to play harder to get. Stop chasing her so much and flirting with her so much. Also act like your busy with other friends/girls too. A guy that is too available is boring. You have to distinguish yourself from all of the other dogs nipping at her heels. This is quiet fun and it really throws most girls off their game.

Lots of girls do that. Don't worry about it dude, I've had two different girls do the same thing to me and one I told not to touch me if she didn't like me as more than a friend and she STILL touched me after that! This happenes cuz girls like to do this.. The same thing just happened to me but instead of giving me signs that she likes me she actually told me she liked me and when i asked her out she said "no" and then i asked " wait why not?" And she said she didn't know which really pissed me off and to top tht off this was the 5th girl to do this to me in about 6 months so I've pretty much given up and I don't know what you or i should do

Girls do this now and again to boost their confidence. There was a girl who would flirt with everyone including me I asked her out and she rejected me, she also flirted with me again by brushing up against me, After she rejected me. I just ignored her. If she flirts with you again just say I don't have time for this crap, unless you accept to be my girlfriend. I ignore girls who reject me cause they are not worth your time
