I'm so confused here... I met this girl at a club... I was there because of a friends birthday and she was there because it was her friend's birthday (different friends)and somehow we just started talking... Anyways, we had a fun night, I got her number, and we went on a date a few days later... She's 28 and I'm 26 btw... Everything seemed to be going fine, and she's really flirty and down to earth and outgoing... I took her out for dinner and ice cream, and she says things like "I'm the best thing that ever happened to your life"... it just seemed like she was so into me! We were telling each other about our past relationships and stuff... and that night she asked me if I wanted to come up to her pad, and so I said sure for a bit... She lives with her mom and she introduced me to her which I thought was extremely fast! Only a few days of knowing her I meet her mom already... Anyways, we hang out in her bedroom and I swear she wanted to have sex... but I really like her and I wanted to take things slow... We just lied there, talked and cuddled but no sex... When I left, I hugged her for a good 10 seconds or so and gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her good night, as I was leaving she playfully slapped by bum... The next day we did a little texting and a few days later I texted her, no reply... and so I tried to phone her at night, and still no reply...

I'm sooo confused now... Was she just playing the field? Why would she take me home and have me meet her mom? And flirt with me like that? Did I get flaked? It's been two days now she hasn't replied... Should I try again? I just don't see how she can go 180 degrees like that... everything seemed to go so well and just bam! It's over..? Should I go visit her @ work and see if everything is OK? Or should I just leave it at this now... OMG, I can't figure you girls out! Is it over? Is she just busy? What happened here? She's on my Facebook.. so if she flaked me, would she delete me off her Facebook? What would you guys do?

Now... She was flirting with you, invited you to her place, didn't have sex but cuddled in her bed, then you hugged and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

You know who you give kisses on the cheek? Family members, a friend, and a girl you're not all that interested in. After all of that, you should have kissed her on the lips because she showed obvious interest. She even slapped your butt. Right there you should have turned around and planted one on her lips.

If she hasn't contacted you in two days, that means one of few things could be going on. She could have dropped her cell phone in the toilet, and she's waiting for a replacement to arrive. Or, she might think that you're not really interested and doesn't want to be bothered because she doesn't want to be your friend. Or, maybe she met someone, flirted with them the same way, and really kissed her instead of kissing her on the cheek.

Here's what you do, text her one more time. If she doesn't reply back, move on to the next chick.

I know you heard the saying, "You only get one chance to make a first impression." No one said you had to have sex. In fact, with her mom being there that would have been disrespectful. But she showed a clear and present interest, and you didn't take advantage of it.

And listen, do not call her at work. Get it out of your head. You're not going to gain any extra brownie points by calling her at work. You will just look desperate. Like I said text her one more time, and text her this. "Hey what's up? What are you doing this weekend?" If she doesn't reply to that, then you know you're done. Go on with your life. I would just give it some time, like a few more days, and maybe try calling her again on the next weekend or two.

I agree 100%! But make sure to call her phone, NOT work. Keep the call short, sweet and a little flirty. The kiss on the cheek might have made her feel like you just want to be friends. If you do get a chance to go out with her again, let her know you are attracted to her but you'd prefer to take it slow. If she's not down with that and you feel pressured to move faster, YOU should be the one to back off, but be a gentleman and tell her why.

You should have at least made out with her on her bed which is what she wanted, you didn't have to have sex with her, you could have just made out or messed around.
