When a couple of mutual friends had their matchmaking eyes set on me and my crush and they told us, he didn't deny it, but he didn't agree with it either. Good thing or bad thing?

Okay, I'm actually getting a just friends vibe from him, but that's all based off what you tell me. I don't how his posture was, I mean was there continual eye contact, or while talking to you he made 1 to numerous glances away in a particular direction. there are so many factors. Now if you really like the guy, then start your game on and see where it takes you, If you're still hesitant, then leave him be and see if he'll make more of what you two have or not...

But he didn't DENY it. He was waiting to see your reaction. Rejecting is the same in guys and in girls. Maybe girls cry more but it's just as embarassing and hurtful to us too. So, look on the positive side. He could have said "no" but didnt. I'd say that's good even though I can see you thinking otherwise. Guys and their damn secret language.

Comments posted on walls are harder to disect because you don't see body language with it. It's true that he didn't say it, but comments already have the mindset to be shorter and more to the point. Oh and Guy AND Girls and their damn secret language.

Haha, yes! I can't decode him! I even discussed it with him after, and I slyly made it sound like he rejected me, but he just told me that he just didn't say anything because he was really embarassed! Is that still a good thing then?

I'd say it could mean one of two things. Either he likes you and he's too shy to admit it or he isn't that interested in you and doesn't want to hurt your feelings. How ever he didn't outright say no so at least you can be certain there aren't too many negative feelings.

I don't think he would have said something if he was uncomfortable. If you get put on the spot like that you kind of feel like you're at a loss for words. I may not have said anything or at mos I would have tried to laugh it off, whether I liked the girl or not. I especially don't like being forced into anything whether I like the girl or not. I want to set the terms as well as the pace...

That's what I was thinking too, I mean, if a friend comes up to you and suggests you date this person that you had no feelings at all for, except for friendship (we were approached separately and he told me after), wouldn't they just say "Uh.. no thanks!"?
