If you workout and have some muscle tone they'll flock to ya. I don't really get hit on by gay men but they've messaged me a ton on craigslist before when they'd see a photo of me.
I'm guessing there's abundant in places you frequent so that may be why. I also notice many of them are very aggressive and pushy when they're into someone. If you've got a light voice and some submissiveness to you they'll prey on ya like meat.
Probably a combination of effeminism, and the fact that you're an indy/hipster clubber. There's a bigger gay scene there, I feel like. Watch ypur body language in sending off mixed signals. Maybe order a beer rather than a mix drink I don't know, it's the little things man.
A lot of gay boys I know are hipsters, so probably just the odds that you'll sttract a few. Guys are often more aggressive and risk taking than females, especially with booze involved.
