Yeah he wants to imply that we are close and like a couple. Or wants to push that in ur psychology, so u start feeling the same way.

Some would just do it coz they can and it will make them feel supposedly good about themselves.
If he is not creepy then u can skip this last reason.

Okay. In that case either he's testing what rights he has earned over 5 years or he wants to push the thought in ur mind so u feel the same way and then he can have some chances of being as a couple. Yes most probably he thinks that you are great together and y not be more but he also understand the friend zone thing. so he is testing how much friend zoned is he.
Anyway his thoughts about u hv changed and thinks you guys can be great together.

Combine this with what you think from knowing him from 5 years, his personality. Does he value a happy and frndly couple rather then people going out but not knowing much about each other

Haha calling u sis is a biggie, he was too pissed i guess, when things get great bw u i. e lovely talk hapening then u can bring it up like 'but u called me ur sis' he ll b like i didn't mean it. if he says he still believes that.. then ask him that ur not comfortable being a sis whom u can call those names.

Any way in the present. When u say that he stopped chatting , he might be testing how hard it is for u to avoid him or continue ur lyf without him. If u do not talk until he does he ll take a step back nd think ur not into him. And if u do talk and express that u kinda missed him. He ll b happy and also think he has the upper hand. lol but that doesn't matter as long as u guys end up together.
So u can text him first that u dint mean to upset him. yeah its fixable, once u start talking normal again, when the time is right i. e he is happy, u can tel him how ur confused that he calls u all that and also his sister, both can't be true.

I was reading other opinions i saw u say that he spoke to u several othrr times before and its juat now that he uses this.
Have u been continously in contact for the past 5 years? Or is it like 3 or 4 or 5 times an year.
Coz if its like 4-5 times an year contact then maybe he is a changed person and he now talks that way and is maybe also showing off how confident he is around girls and thinks he can score u.

Secondly , oh this is so complicated..
Being pissed about it i felt that too right ! He mentioned it twice i felt like i gave him a slap on the face for it lol.. as far as how can fix it up i think im gonna just pretend he didn't say it but if i think that i need to bring it up ill put it your way for sure !
and yes he wasn't chatting with me continously in the past 5 years maybe twice a year.. and was funny talking but not flirty " the thing is we dont go to same university but we study the same major so it was just fb chat.. now the reason he's back in contact is because he wanted at some point to transfer to our uni so he asked me for help although he knows lots of guys over there and am the only girl whom he asked.. but he couldn't transfer and completed his transition else where..
So rate of chatting was every 2 days or 3 days in past 2 weeks and 3 phone calls this week.. so now he broke contact

I get the impression that with that kind of call rate one would suppose he is not that into u, m sry. but maybe if the talk u guys had was mostly off topic and very flirtious then we can assume he is trying to at least score u. Seems like previously in all the years u were jus a frnd and u had casual talk and now he may need u for a favour or something so he is in better contact with u.
Are u even sure that he is single?
As far as that behaviour of calling u names is concerned.
1. May b he's changed a little and fuled with the fact that he is now much more confident person and esoecially around u and maybe also thinks that u may hv a crush on him, so he can say that casually.
2. Did u have a history of relationships, if yes then may b he thinks he can just call u that and u wouldn't mind as its quite normal and u would know better.
Now i feel like that u shouldn't message. And instead wait for him to contact again. Coz primarily he is calling u work related ryt...

No. its not a bad sign.. i said that only to know that if he caled u babie/baby then we can b sure that he is into u. Now we r in dark, i think u should wait for his call if u think he will need to eventually. If u can't know more about him from somebody then i think u need to get urself together and get the courage and when he says that again u just giggle abd very casually be like since when did u pick up that habit anyway? Normaly no guy would call all manh names at once to a girl , coz he knows it means he is sending the wrong signs , i only limit myself to 'dear' to my female frnds and yes this can be eccepted that a person can get into the habit of calling 'a' name. If he called u either darlin all the tym then that would still some how be normal or may sweety all the time, but using all of them together is ofcourse sending the wrong signs.. So seems like he knows he is doing this.. darn i dunt know his intentions.
U shud casually confront.
there's nothing rong.. ur not used to hearing that from frnds so jus tel him that somehow.

Hey what u do is that when u guys talk next. When u feel the time is right. U can ask him dat how was his college etc, how were students there, were they frndly,... nd so on nd then ask him ' did u find a nyc girl then?
2 advantages from doing this., one that you will know if he has or not and second he ll het the message that ur interested in him. Also talking about such stuff always takes conversations furthur.
Now about that u look changed. It means he wasn't attracted to u b4 but now he is. Dats good.
And in the street when he does that.. is he alone at the time or with frnds? If alone then also positive.
