Should you wait for a girl, who friend zoned you and went back to her ex?

So this girl (best friend of mine but i falled for her and told her my feelings) friend zoned me and went back her ex who cheated on her before. Many people warned her not to date that guy bcoz everyone knows he is a jerk but she does not care about that as she is in love with him. I still remember her words to me,' please, you are perfect and way better then him i truly agree but I don't know why but i can't leave him and I don't know why everybody has a problem with me dating this guy'.
She also told me that i am way more closer to her then her bf.

But i could not take this anymore so i begged her to let me move on (cutting all contacts with her) as i dont wanna hurt myself and this made her depressed. A lot depressed actually.
I still have a hope that some day she will regret chosing her ex and she will show up.
What do you think guys?

Seriously, whats sad is your willing to wait for her, you need to move on, b4 my friends with benefits was my friends with benefits , we were friends, while we were friends she was dating one her exes, they broke up 2 years ago she moved on, he didn't he tried night and day to try and get back with her finally she gave him a chance but in the end she wasn't happy, he treated her like shit, they were suppose to spend nye together and he blew her off, she told me and i told her to end it with him, he still wouldn't let her go, she asked him are you seriously going to wait forever he said yes til the day he dies, she told him move on and forget it, after she hung up the phone me and her haf sex, then a week goes by he came to get his stuff, that dence mf still didn't get it (he knew about me, but he didn't know me and her were having sex) he kept trying after it was over she finally told him me and her had sex, i was at work, i didn't find out til later, but it took that much, do yourself a favor move on, and just stop trying

Never make someone your priority while you are merely an option to them. That is why there are so many nice guys getting hurt all the time. Don't wait on a girl while she is with someone else. Just like men use women for sex, women use men for emotional support. She is using you emotionally, and has no desire to ever give you the type of relationship you want. You have to look out for yourself.

Women respect guys that respect themselves. Putting your life and happiness on hold for her to hopefully make a decision to pick you shows a complete lack of self respect. Can you imagine how weak and pathetic a woman would look if she sat around faithfully while the man she loved went around fucking ever other girl on the planet?

In all honesty I had a friend who is in the same situation and I helped her realize that it's best to let it go. You should because she doesn't care if you're depressed or hurt at all and that's really selfish. She is probably in an abusive relationship, usually people in them tend to have and inexplicable fear about leaving the other person. So in my opinion think of your own health cause this girl's not correct meant ally and emotionally because who wants a cheater? No one sane :)
