How long should I wait before asking out a friend who broke up with someone?

They broke up like a month ago and the other day we went to a bar and became very close with each other, some sparks and flirting and long looks as well as touching. We were barely friends before this

Outside of this occasion we just talk a lot but nothing overtly flirty, just our inside jokes. She says she's happy alone but I did feel a spark and we continue seeing talking and hanging out at times

Should I wait longer before asking her out?

Neither of us has brought up that night together over than in passing. It's an anxious step to get over, lol

So I told her today if she wanted to get dinner together and she oh sure!

Then an hour later says if we can move it to Sunday since work has been very stressful today. Not sure why Sunday and not Saturday but whatever. I could tell she was stressed from work before asking her for what it's worth, and I tried to reassure that she was doing a kickass job and she was happy about that, but it still sucks to hear that she changed it later

I'll text her details today or tomorrow (what's better?) and see what happens but if she cancels again I have my answer I guess

Ball's in her court. If she really didn't want to see me I'd rather she said it even if it was a bit mean (just a bit, lol)

If it happens, I'll let her know I want to take her out on a real. Depending on her reaction say when she's ready, or just point blank
