If a guy compliments you on your hair accessory?

I had a trainer for work for a week with about 34 other people in class. Everytime he approaches close to me like - if im in a group or in an elevator.. he NEVER looks at me. I would make eye contact and try to engage, but he never looks me in the eye. So I just look away and I'm thinking, well then he hates me. I wore bows in my hair twice in the week. First time he came by and touched my bow and said he liked it. Second time, he did the same thing. I asked him a question and then he slightly touched me on my back/shoulder. I never knew of someone that compliments a girls hair bow. Is this normal? If it is, then I'm not normal, but I'm just wondering. Ahah.

Guys know to compliment on something a woman chose to wear. It's more genuine. However just be careful, he's your trainer... just be careful

He is interested in you, otherwise he wouldn't compliment you about your appearance. He is probably shy to make an actual move on you.
