My boyfriend gave me his fb password then recently changed it so I can't log onto it?

This may sound so childish but I dont care. He gave me his password in the past because he had cheated on me, and he gave that to me to prove he had nothing to hide. Recently, he changed it and is reluctant to tell me the password. For some reason this is putting our relationship on the line, and i feel like its for a really silly reason but I just can't drop it. Why suddenly not trust me to have it? I feel like he's hiding something and its driving me crazy. I haven't done anything to not deserve to know it anymore, and he knows mine. I don't know what to do?

First, I don't know why anyone would give someone they are just dating their password to their online accounts and stuff, that's just asking for trouble.

Second, if you knew he cheated on his last girlfriend with you and you knew trust would be an issue, why stay with him to begin with?

For my advice, just because he changed his password doesn't mean he's cheating like he did before. I know they say "once cheater, always cheater" but that's not always the case and him changing his password and not giving you the new one isn't exactly solid proof. So, until you have some real proof, I think you should just let it go. Besides, if he was cheating again, why would he care that your mad and try to keep talking to you? If he thought you were on him, wouldn't he just admit it considering your someone he once cheated with and you probably know his game?

Thats not a good sign. I have my boyfriends password to all of his social media accounts and he doesn't care. Thats how it should be when you have nothing to hide and don't care whether she see's something. It does however bug him when I constantly check them because he feels as if I don't trust him.

That's not necessarily how it should be if they have nothing to hide, I would never cheat on someone but they're not getting my passwords for anything. I feel like it's an invasion of privacy and I feel like everyone is entitled to their privacy, even in a relationship. I would feel like someone didn't trust me if they felt the need to log into any of my accounts.

Your first problem is you obviously never really trusted him to begin with. Why is that, did he do something or where you cheated on in the past? Lack of trust will destroy any relationship. I personally wouldn't care if my (hypothetical) girlfriend new my passwords or not, however if she demanded to know them then I would be a bit angry. Its essentially accusing him of cheating with out evidence. Imagine if it were you being accused on a regular basis. Not a particularly endeering quality. So do you actually have a legitamate reason for being mistrustful of him?

he cheated on his ex with me. They were together a long time, and they both were unhappy, she told me herself. (i wasn't aware of what was even going on) he broke up with her and we stayed together , thats why i have trust issues

Well thats a terrible way to start a relationship, If it happened once it could very well happen again. However it is also true that being distrustful of someone will drive them away. The fact is the only real options are trust him or break up with him. If you can't trust him then you shouldn't continue because it will in all probability create a self fullfilling prophecy, where you make him so miserable by accusing him of cheating that he will finely go and cheat or break up with you.

Drop him fast like a bad habit. In circumstances like this why would you question him or ask why. It only means a single thing, he is hiding, cheating or stealing. To question him means you have no self respect. Everything has a cost. His bad action should cost him you.

I don't know why you would want to spend your time policing your boyfriend in the first place, he cheated so to get trust back, you have to basically spy now and now things like this will make you lose trust again. Why don't you just start over with someone who didn't cheat on you and who you can trust without needing each other social media passwords.
