Does it mean a guy is interested in you if he adds you on Facebook immediately after meeting?

I work as a cashier at a drugstore while I'm not in college. About a week ago this guy came into the store. I recognized the guy because I went to elementary school with him. We weren't like friends or anything back then I just had a lot of class es with him. And theast time I saw this dude before was in elementary school. Anyway he didn't really say anything to me and I didn't mention that I remembered him. When I got off my shift at 11 at night I happened to check my Facebook and this guy had sent me a friend request. So is he interested? I was expecting to get a Facebook message like hey or something but he has never sent that. A few days ago he came in my store again but still really did t say anything. i

To me when someone, in this case someone you haven't spoken to much, searches for your name on Facebook and adds you, that could be a move that he or she may have interest in you. Adding someone on Facebook after running into them once isn't something that's done just for the heck of it. He made the "first move" by adding you so that maybe you'd get the heads up and hopefully recognize him like he recognized you. He may be shy and thought adding you would probably get you to speak to him first, in person at the store you work at or online. I added a guy that I haven't spoken to much in person online because I was interested in him. I was hoping he'd see that as me liking him. I also once read an article online how after a date, adding whomever you shared company with that night shows that you were interested in that person because you're reaching out to them. You are showing them that you want to stay in touch. Hope I helped.
