What does it mean if a guy you know adds you on Facebook?

It could mean anything. I add anyone on facebook from family, close friends, acquaintances, coworkers, internet friends, etc. Some I see on a daily basis, some I haven't seen since highschool. Some of them I may be interested in, but I doubt they know that and it's not the main reason I added them, but because we were already friends.

Not saying he doesn't like you, but facebook request isn't always an indication of that.

It could be because of your looks like with your public pictures, or he likes you, maybe he wants to see your posts and talk to you through Facebook. I think it really depends like on how he is, who he is and such.

he was interested enough in your profile picture that popped up, or seeing you in person or hearing about you from mutual friends to search up your name and add you, so he at least thinks you're decent
