A married man is courting me, is he serious about this?

This man that I'm talking about has been courting me for roughly a year now.
It has changed from flirty and kinda sexual in the beginning to very tender and serious now. He must have noticed that I didn't like what he was doing in the beginning. He's married after all. Since he's a co-worker of mine, in a higher position than me and well regarded by everyone, I had decided to keep it a secret and be cool about it.
I showed him clear boundaries and I'm glad he's reacting to that. But he's still pursuing me - asking about my day and such things, still being sincere and very obvious about his interest in me.
I block it off though. Now he seems sad.
What the heck?
If he wants me, he should tell me, no?
Why the confusion?
Is he ever gonna do anything about all of this?

-- i don't know but if i were in your position i'd make clear that in no uncertain terms his advances and flirtations are inappropriate considering the fact that he's married and in a position of authority over you in the work place

Yeah, I've already made it clear that I'm not giving in to his seducing, I also obviously keep my distance from him. He definitely got that already.

If he was serious then he'd tell you straight up and want to be with you and not his wife. Stick to your guns and keep your distance from him or give him the choice but don't let him have his cake and eat it.

Nah I don't, don't worry. I'm just curious what's it gonna be. And it's annoying to not have any clarity from his side.
But yeah, I'm living my own life and he can go and do the same thing. If he doesn't have the balls for it he doesn't deserve it anyway.

You seem conflicted about his interest in you. Do you want him or do you want him to stop? Show some respect for yourself, HIS WIFE, the job, the vows of marriage and him. You need to stay clear of this married guy.

This is such a bad situation. You shouldn't be involved with people from work let alone your boss and you shouldn't get involved with married men. Like, this is *really* basic stuff.

Well when everything turned out this way I was pretty shocked in the beginning. But the only options I have is either this or changing my work place, which is not possible at the moment.
I'm not getting involved with him. I just secretly want to know what's up.

Probably not but if he does I'm sure he's not going to be single. Unless you want to get involved with a married man I think it's best to end things before they get further.
