What does it mean when guys hug you then lift you off your feet?

Me and this guy hugged,then he lifted me off my feet.

why do guys do this?

Also,right before he lifted me,he squeezed me. I know he likes me,but why the lifting?

Guys just do that because its fun. Picking stuff up especially girls is pretty fun. I guess psychologically it allows an acceptable avenue to display our strength or whatever.
