He called me a delicate butterfly. What does that mean?

This guy I know called me a delicate butterfly today. I laughed and asked if he was really talking about me. And he said yes I told him that nobody has every called me delicate anything before. I'm not really sure what he ment by it though. I did take it as a compliment though.
